PDO SMOOTH thread

Polydioxanone (PDO) SMOOTH threads are a special medical grade FDA approved monofilament suture that is thinner than hair and is made of protein. PDO SMOOTH threads are a non-invasive treatment for promoting natural collagen production from the body for long-lasting results. The PDO threads are to be placed into the subcutaneous fat layer of the skin to promote the production of collagenous connective tissues around the inserted threads. It generally last about six months for its full biodegradation after insertion and its presence stimulates collagen production during that period. The result from this collagen stimulation may last up to 12-24 months.

PDO Barbed threads

PDO Thread Lift is a safe, non-surgical procedure that involves the insertion of absorbable barbed threads that are placed into the deep, subcutaneous layer of skin. It has a dual layer cutting method of PDO suture that ensures a stronger anchoring effect of the skin. Within months, the sutures dissolve and are replaced by new collagen and elastin that naturally maintain that youthful appearance. PDO threads can be used for an abundance of procedures. The most trending use is the Brow lift, leaving our clients with a beautiful cat eye and elevated brow. PDO threads are also used for the non-surgical facelift in order to lift the skin by providing an upward pull giving the appearance of a face lift. The procedure results generally last 1-2 years.
